Uniseal® joints are intended to serve as a tight connection between a pipe and any type of tank, barrel or pipe, whatever the type of material: glass, plastic, metal, ceramic, etc ...
Made from Alcryn® thermoplastic rubber, Uniseal® seals are economical, very strong, durable and insensitive to common chemical compounds, including hydrocarbons.
Uniseal® seals can be used in pressure up to 4.5 bar (65PSI) or in suction, with liquids or gases with a temperature between -40 ° C and 100 ° C.
Extremely simple implementation:
Drill a 32 mm diameter hole in the container wall using a hole saw, deburr the hole, check that the edges are smooth and not sharp. If the wall thickness of the container is less than 3mm, we advise you to put a special Uniseal spacer on the joint before inserting the Uniseal + spacer joint into the hole.
Deburr, chamfer and then coat the 20mm tube with Uniseal Special lubricant and then push the pipe firmly through the seal. Particular Uniseal® shape will allow its expansion by pipe going through, thus ensuring the required sealing even if the container surface is slightly curved.
